TrendMedium is an advanced genetic-analysis program for traders and investors which allows you to:
* Identify turning points in stock movements.
* Surfing Your Positions With Unique Wave Stops (read my article in the September issue of Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities).
* Verify forward-trading ability of the trading system with Out Of Sample Test.
* Download stock quotes from Yahoo Finance. Stock symbols are available for: US, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, UK, Taiwan, and others.
* Import stock quotes from Equis MetaStock database files.
TrendMedium uses past history of the ticker to build a profile of the movements using a highly sophisticated "genetic algorithm selection" to model past performance.
How does TrendMedium work?
TrendMedium uses a highly complex algorithm to create profiles of stock movements, speculatively modelling and then using a genetic selection process to refine the model over a large number of iterations and variables, allowing an almost infinite flexibility and precision to be achieved.
TrendMedium models the tickers during or after the close of trading, and uses these models in subsequent trades. This allows you to be armed with the best information to be able to make decisions that will deliver profit to your bottom line.
TrendMedium does not use "forward indicators" to help you trade. Instead it computes a simulation of the current situation using only historical data, and presents this model as an open system that you can inspect and understand.
