You simply define your shifts and specify the number of people that you need on each shift each day. Then you assign the shifts to your people each day from a drop-down menu.
You can schedule up to 9 groups of employees (say waiters, managers and bartenders or head nurse, RN and LPN) with each group having it's unique menu and shift needs.
You can define up to 10 vacation periods for each employee and the spreadsheet will not allow you to assign a shift to someone who is scheduled for a vacation day.
Budgeted hours and payroll are tracked as well as actual hours and payroll costs to give you complete control of your labor costs. (4 week version only)
The spreadsheet creates several different calendars and schedules including a file that you can import into your Outlook Calendar, PDA or Smart Phone so you will always have your schedule available for easy reference.
